Survey for Health Technology Assessment and Decision-Making Stakeholders
Digital health technologies (DHTs), including AI-enabled software, mobile health applications, and connected monitoring devices, are transforming healthcare systems and posing new challenges for Health Technology Assessment (HTA).
Meaningful stakeholder involvement—particularly patients and clinicians—is increasingly recognised as essential to ensure that digital technologies are evaluated in ways that reflect real-world clinical practice and patient needs.
This survey aims to increase understanding of current practices, barriers, and opportunities for stakeholder involvement in DHT assessment across Europe.
We invite participation from professionals working in:
- HTA agencies
- Payer or insurance organisations
- Ministries or regulatory bodies
- Hospital-based HTA units
- Policy or advisory committees involved in technology assessment
The findings will support the development of evidence-based recommendations on stakeholder involvement in digital HTA, particularly in the context of the EU Health Technology Assessment Regulation (HTAR) and the evolving European digital health ecosystem.
This survey is conducted under the framework of the ASSESS DHT project.
