NICE helps get the best care to patients while ensuring value for the taxpayer, providing rigorous, independent assessment of complex evidence to produce useful and usable guidance for health and care practitioners.

Role in the project

NICE are a task lead for two activities (1) task 4.1 the development of a European tool to optimise evidence development plans and (2) task 5.3 a pilot of the new assessment framework using a case study of an Artificial Intelligence based Digital Health Application.  We are also involved in WP1 (coordination, communication and dissemination ) and WP2 (taxonomy for DHT for assessment purposes, methods review and gap analysis).
