Role in the project

The research team at the University of Oxford is involved in several work packages of the ASSESS DHT project and will be leading on the development of a life-cycle evidence generation and evaluation framework. Based on their experience developing the IDEAL framework for surgical innovation and the DECIDE-AI guideline for the reporting of early stage clinical evaluation of AI-based decision support systems, their contribution aims to provide DHT developers and HTA bodies with specific and actionable guidance on DHT evaluation at all stages of implementation.
